In March 2016, Yachty paddled his way into to success with the release of Lil Boat. The lighthearted mixtape boasted a bevy of bangers — including his biggest solo single to date, “One Night” (which peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100) and his star-studded remix for “Minnesota,” with Quavo and Young Thug.
Earlier this week, Yacthy was announced as one of the performers slated to touch down in Chicago this November for Red Bull Sound Select. Joining him will be Young Thug, Kehlani, Khalid and Migos.

Lil Boat 2 will follow in the footsteps of the Atlanta native’s debut album, Teenage Emotions, that dropped earlier this summer. Although the project did not live up to expectations as far as sales, Yachty has continued to keep fans on their toes for more material to come.
