Roc Nation music signee Vic Mensa delivered another powerful performance on late night TV last night. Taking time out from supporting JAY-Z on the 4:44 tour, he performed “We Could Be Free” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. As if the song itself isn’t impactful enough, Vic was joined by backing singers and violinists wearing black clothing branded with “Police Brutality,” “Sexual Abuse,” “Mass Incarceration” and other social issues. “We Could Be Free” is taken from Vic’s latest album, The Autobiography.
