My Relationship With Mac Miller grew Scary and Toxic – Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande confirmed that she and longtime boyfriend Mac Miller had parted ways. The breakup, while heartbreaking for fans of the celebrity couple, seemed amicable. Grande shared the news in her Instagram story calling Miller her best friend and adding that she “respect[s] and adore[s] him endlessly.”

One man on Twitter decided to criticize Grande for “dumping” Miller and blamed her for the rapper’s recent car accident and DUI. The man dubbed the breakup “the most heartbreaking thing happening in Hollywood.”

Grande fired Wednesday back with a long message that reveals some startling details about the nature of her and the Miller’s relationship behind the scenes. In her response, Grande criticizes the user for trying to “minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship.”

She went on to talk about her attempts to help Miller through his sobriety, writing “blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his shit together is a major problem.” Also: “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.”
